The MasLauris Estate lies between the Luberon massif and the Durance river, in the southernmost part of the Rhône Valley. From the estate, the panorama stretches from the Luberon, showcasing its highest peak, Mourre Nègre, to the Aix-en-Provence region and its Sainte-Victoire mountain.

The history of the appellation dates back to the 20th century but the wine-growing areas are much older. Today, more than 20% of producers comply with the Luberon AOP and are certified organic. The area of the appellation thus continues to prove its attachment to its Natural Park and, more generally, to its environment.
